| Carlos
de Erausquin started working in the coffee world in 1986, when he was
destined to Santos (Brazil) for a year, by Comercial de Material Primas
S.A. He was ordered to learn how to taste and classify coffee. He was
given the oficial Coffee Taster and Classifier Diploma. He shared this
learning by a tasting training course, this course was made at three
of the best coffee importers in Brazil.
He has been assessing and performing quality control
processes over coffee loads that come to Spain to assure quality levels
in all the associates’ purchases of coffe beands.
After that, he was monitoring, standing for the Federacion
Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (National federation of Colombian
Coffee Tasters), the achievement of the program “100% Colombian
Coffee”, between years 1989 and 1996.
In June,1992 he was nominated expert in Coffee-Quality
Control. He was nominated by the Lonja de Valencia’s Consulate,
which is an agreement court in charge of coffee trade in Spain.
Lastly, in Novembre 201, was nominated Judge at the Internacional Coffee
Congress celebrated in San Jose de Costa Rica. (Sintercafe 2001).
